Our ultimate goal is for all seniors safe, mobile and independent at home as long as possible. We believe this brings more joy and happiness to the elderly. We do so multichannel, with several products and services, as an intermediary with strong partnerships notwithstanding the competition. The market is growing and as long as we develop and bring demand and supply together as much, and efficiently as possible we contribute to our mission.


As the number 1, multiproduct, multivendor, multichannel organization in this niche market of Senior Equipment we made more than 150.000+ seniors happy and we keep adding more than a thousand a month.

Our story

Over 30 years ago we started as a mail-ordering company in riser recliners and have grown into an international player in Senior Equipment in Europe. Over the years other products were added to the program contributing to our strongly incorporated and manifested vision to further develop better lives for seniors.

We want all seniors to stay home independent, mobile and safe. With products like stairlifts, home-lifts, scoot mobiles, bath-lifts and walk-in showers we enable seniors to live their old age as they envisioned.

In order to further build the strategy on the already incorporated companies and infrastructure, the Vitae Group BV was founded 30 December 2019. Doing so in order to generate more volume and synergies in the value chain of advising, selling, installing and maintaining mobility products for Seniors. Vitae invested in a business platform, trainings center, measurement systems, lead generation and logistics in order to further make distribution more efficient and scalable.

Actively addressing market trends

As a leading player in senior equipment, at Vitae we keep a close eye on international trends that significantly influence our operations. With the rapid digitalization of the world, customers want to compare products, prices and services, Also governments search for easy and accessible ways to support senior solutions. Moreover, there is a scarcity of manual labour.

The customers of today expect seamless online and offline experiences. As the physical world increasingly intertwines with the online world, from the Internet of Things to process digitalization, there is a natural push driving efficiency and faster better decision-making for companies and customers.

Besides that climate change is impacting the market. We take this very seriously as we operate since products and distribution play a significant role in getting products from the factory to our customers. We aim to play a CO2 declining role and implement energy-efficient buy, transport and distribution processes and step-by-step change over to electrified transport. Furthermore, consumers are looking for flexible ownership models such as rental concepts. Making green business models with reusability more possible.

Given the ongoing shortages of essential components and geopolitical tensions, simplifying our supply chain is crucial. We also notice the importance of informing and giving the customer a choice of where and what to buy.
